Right now, I am trying my hardest to stay faithful to my Lenten promise to not eat meat (meat products or fake meat look alikes) and its been so tough. At first, I thought it was too easy, but grilled cheese gets old pretty quickly. Ordinarily, I'm a picky eater and I'm learning that all the food I like comes from an animal at some point. Vegans? I dont get you. What do you eat?
Danny's been extremely supportive with this dietary challenge. He isn't a practicing Catholic, so I don't expect him to give up the good stuff, but he's chosen to enjoy bell pepper omelets and bean burritos with me while I wait this one out. It's been a long few weeks and I cannot wait for Easter. My dad has promised the biggest, best, most delicious ham money can buy. I'm really looking forward to it.
In other news, my parents are moving out of my childhood home that Monday right after Easter [which I've begin referring to as "Bacon Overdose of 2011"]. As I love where I grew up and will definitely miss "home", I'm excited for this new adventure my parents are starting on. The house they are moving to is not only beautiful, but practical, as they don't have four extra people living

And with that, you're caught up with the haps in my life.
If you're wondering about my running...I'm working up to more miles and getting to the gym at least 5 times a week. Or I was until last week. Preparation for and going to Vegas took up all my time. But going through security, walking the strip, and running towards the bar served as my cardio.
