...a girl with serious boredom issues. And so this "writing exercise" (because "blog" sounds so [forgive me] lame) was formed.
I'm not doing this only because I love talking about myself, which I do, but also because I am a person who constantly needs a project. Whether its planning an event, sewing a costume, trying a recipe, or learning a new subject I have to keep working towards, creating, or accomplishing something. Obviously, there is no end success or tangible reward for blogging. It is simply a way to practice my writing, keep the internet community updated with my happy hour schedule, and perhaps pose as an outlet for any problems that may arise in the Life of Megan. Why not just let the world in on my most personal thoughts and feelings? It's like the opposite of a diary. Which is perfect because I've never been good at diaries. I always wanted someone to read mine.
Basically, I'm in need of a hobby. And since I cant afford to go back to school, the Amazing Race application process is too daunting, and I've been advised to stop singing: This is it.
